Free Summer Meals for Kids Program Information (June 1 - July 15, 2021) Free meals will be provided this summer to any child 18 years of age or younger by the KCS School Nutrition Department. Kingsport City Schools Superintendent Named 2022 First Tennessee District Superintendent of the Year KCS Superintendent Dr. Jeff Moorhouse has been named the 2022 First Tennessee District Superintendent of the Year. With his recognition as the top district First Tennessee Superintendent of the Year, Dr. Moorhouse is also now a finalist for the 2022 Tennessee Superintendent of the Year, which will be announced later this year.

Kingsport City Schools Announces 2021 Principal, Supervisor, and Teachers of the Year Dr. Chris Hampton was named Principal of the Year and Vicki Johnston was named Supervisor of the Year.
